Day before going HOME
Today has been a good day. Katie woke up about 9 and played educational games on the computer for about 2-3 hours while I took a morning nap. William came today and brought dumplings! (Thank you to Jan Moore...they are GOOD) We played in the playroom for a while and then Katie rode in a pink car back to the room. She has thrown up once today but hopefully the medicine will help that. They just started her last dose of chemo before we get to go home.

Sorry I texted you before reading your blog. We had been in town most of the day doing errands. I was just worried cuz Ashley texted you and then called and you apparently had the phone off or it is dead(dads) cuz went straight to voice mail. WE wanted to see if we could get Katie this dora self stick border for the wall in her room that we found at wallmart.We didn't buy it cuz we never got hold of you. I am so glad Katie had a good day and that you had "dumplings". Did Katie eat some? Well We thought we might go up and see you after church tomorrow if that is ok before you go home. All are well here it seems. Tell me if it is ok.
ReplyDeleteGlad to hear all is going well it sounds like Katie is doing ok off the medication that was making her see things that were not there. Dumplings sound so good gald you got to eat something other than hospital of restraunt food.Hope all goes ok today and you and all have a safe trip home

Checking back in! Our Fridays have turned into Tuesdays, and the place just isn't the same without you! Miss your smile and sense of humor about my little builder! I am praying that Katie gets stronger and stronger and that this illness becomes a distant memory. Sending our love and prayers!!!
