Yesterday was a big day for Katie because her best friends, Zoey and Kate, came over. The brought her a beautiful quilt with all of their pictures on it and a TON of toys to play with. They did their nails and put on make-up...it was good to see her playing again.
After her friends left, we packed up and headed to San Antonio. The girls slept in the car so by the time we got to our hotel they were ready to play. The hotel that Make-A-Wish reserved for us is HUGE. It has two pools, a lazy river, a small waterfall, and a beautiful lobby. Here are a few of our pictures of the hotel and our first night doing crafts.
Laura Beth sitting by the waterfall in the hotel...this is the look she gives while saying cheese!
This morning we headed out to the Natural Bridge Wildlife Safari. We figured it would be something we could enjoy in the rain...William's Ag teacher from high school, Todd Elbel, knows the owners of the safari and had set it all up for us. THANKS!!!! It was alot of fun until one of the animals stuck his head into Katie's window. She got a little scared but after she calmed down we continued to enjoy the ride. Laura Beth LOVED it...you should have seen her calling for the animals to come over so she could feed them. Grandpa would have been proud...it sounded like she was calling the cows!

All of the pictures are just beautiful. I am so glad that you all are on your adventure. Looks like both of the girls are really enjoying it. I do not blame Katie for not liking the animal sticking head in window not my cup of tea either. Pray that the rest of the trip goes as well and the rain will stop. Thank you for sharing the pictures. Have fun.
